Un documental teaser con un artista, un actor, un diplomático, un líder juvenil y una trabajadora social (todos activistas Saharauis) debaten y acercan el conflicto del Sahara.El documental trata la actual y duradera situacion de conflicto en los territorios ocupados, así como en los campamentos de refugiados. Tambien muestra cómo personas de diferentes ámbitos de la vida hacen campaña y exponen sus ideas. Después de la retirada española del Sahara Occidental y la invasión Mauritana-marroquí, su plegaria ha sido la de autodeterminación que ya fue concedida por la ONU hace unos años. TOURING FOR FREEDOM explora el tema del Sahara a través de una serie de entrevistas en un acto celebrado en Torrellas Zaragoza, España. El evento fue organizado por organizaciónes juveniles de Zaragoza y el Sahara. También cuenta con algunos artistas y activistas Saharauis como Yslem Hijo del desierto (primer rapero nacido y criado en los campos de refugiados) y Willy Toledo (actor y director español). TOURING FOR FREEDOM pretende recaudar fondos para un documental de una hora sobre esta temática. The documentary deals with the current and long lasting situation in the occupied territories as well as in the refugee camps. It shows how people from different walks of life are campaigning and voicing their concern for the future of the people. After the Spanish withdrawal from the Western Sahara and the subsequent Mauritanian and Moroccan invasion their plight has been one of self-determination which has been granted by the UN but never been fully realised. Touring for Freedom explores the issue through a number of interviews in an event held in Torrellas, Zaragoza, Spain last July. It features some pro Saharawian artists including Yslem: Hijo del desierto (first rapper born and raised in the refugee camps) and Willy Toledo (popular Spanish actor).
